Round 1: Fight!
Ok, I have searched around and I can't find a way for a elementalist to do this. Can someone give me a walkthrough and a build to kick this guys ass. I can get though to the last round... but he always kills me. Any ideas?

I used the E/A (edited from previous typo) raptor farming build to get through this few mins ago.
Some changes I did was to take out [skill]deadly paradox[/skill] and to include "you move like a dwarf". First thing i did was to KD him when he casts bear form to interupt him. Do the normal shadow form and dmg sequence. If he doesn't die, keep running away from him and KD him with "you move like a dwarf" when necessary. When shadow form recharges, and your energy is kinda up, continue the dmg sequence. I believe there are better ways. I didn't do any search for builds and ways to do this and just did some random testing to deal with him. It worked for me, so you can give it a try Last edited by kobey; Mar 24, 2008 at 04:23 PM // 16:23.. |

Quoted from Wiki:
===Elementalist=== {{mini skill bar|Blinding Surge|Kinetic Armor|Air Attunement|Aura of Restoration|Glyph of Lesser Energy|Conjure Lightning|Gale|Lightning Orb}} 14 Air Magic 11 Energy Storage 9 Earth Magic The idea is to spam blinding surge on Bison to keep him blinded most of the time. Kinetic armor reduces the damage you take when hit, and should be easy to cast once and keep up for the rest of the battle after that. Aura of restoration can outheal the damage that Bison does when he occasionally lands a hit. Air attunement and glyph of lesser energy are for energy management, and should be used as often as possible. I beat everyone I faced with this build, and expect that it should destroy the opponents I didn't face. Mhenlo takes long enough that if you draw him as an opponent, it may be quicker to just give up. Beating Mhenlo requires interrupting two consecutive casts of healing breeze, which can take many tries, as you must start casting gale before he starts casting healing breeze in order to interrupt it. Opponents not attempted: Orion, Danika, Razah, Nika |

I found the old school mist form farmer to work against everyone in the tourney. Just swap out lava font for flame djinn because you might need to run a little against Bison.

What I did was Searing Flames and You Move Like A Dwarf. I kept running, burning and knocking him down. Oh, be sure to take Mark of Rodgort to keep him burning even with your staff.

I did the usual earth tank build - [skill]aura of restoration[/skill], [skill]earth attunement[/skill], [skill]armor of earth[/skill], [skill]stoneflesh aura[/skill], [skill]ebon hawk[/skill], [skill]stoning[/skill], [skill]glowstone[/skill], [skill]sandstorm[/skill], and one of these [skill]ward of weakness[/skill], [skill]ward of stability[/skill], [skill]magnetic aura[/skill].
If you bring magnetic, make sure you bring ward of stability. With a similar build to that, I breezed through the entire tourney. Occasionlly I was close to energy problems, but still won. Also my build may have varied from that, because, of course, I forgot to save the build. Have fun. edit: ok nevermind you beat him already, haha.
